  TITLE: Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Division Director

LOCATION: Syracuse, NY

REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement

POSITION PURPOSE:
This individual provides both administrative and clerical assistance to Division Director and Division staff/ volunteers. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Schedule and Coordinate meetings, makes travel arrangements, assists in maintain Division Director’s calendar, assists with the coordination of fundraising events.
  • Drafts correspondence, prepares reports, charts, PowerPoint.
  • Responds to requests for information verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain and update records for Fundraising.
  • Data entry for various division events.
  • Maintain office supplies.
  • Provide miscellaneous office duties such as answering phones, photocopying, process incoming and outgoing mail, etc.
  • Direct and assist volunteers who handle clerical duties.

 



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum three years experience in office administration, etc.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Must be able to work well with diverse populations even under stressful conditions.
  • College degree preferred.
