  TITLE: Administrative Assistant

REPORTS TO: Division Director

LOCATION: Charlotte, NC

REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement

POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides both administrative and clerical assistance to Division Director and Community Directors within the chapter.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, makes travel arrangements, maintain chapter Executive’s calendar, assist with the coordination of fundraising events. 
  • Draft correspondence; prepare reports, charts, and overheads.
  • Respond to requests for information verbally or in writing.
  • Maintain and update records for Fundraising.
  • Typing and data entry for various Chapter needs.
  • Control and maintain record keeping.
  • Order and maintain office supplies 
  • Provide assistance to Community Directors where necessary 
  • Provide miscellaneous office duties such as answering phones, photocopying, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Direct and assist volunteers who handle clerical duties.

 



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • 2 – 3 years experience 
  • High School degree, Associate or Technical or equivalent 
  • Thorough working knowledge of e-mail and word-processing (MS Office)
  • Organization skills, ability to function in a fast paced environment and deal with multiple priorities
