TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Division Director
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides both administrative and clerical assistance to Division Director and Community Directors within the chapter.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, makes travel arrangements, maintain chapter Executive’s calendar, assist with the coordination of fundraising events.
- Draft correspondence; prepare reports, charts, and overheads.
- Respond to requests for information verbally or in writing.
- Maintain and update records for Fundraising.
- Typing and data entry for various Chapter needs.
- Control and maintain record keeping.
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Provide assistance to Community Directors where necessary
- Provide miscellaneous office duties such as answering phones, photocopying, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Direct and assist volunteers who handle clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 2 – 3 years experience
- High School degree, Associate or Technical or equivalent
- Thorough working knowledge of e-mail and word-processing (MS Office)
- Organization skills, ability to function in a fast paced environment and deal with multiple priorities
