TITLE: Division Director
REPORTS TO: State Director
LOCATION: Tucson, AZ
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Organize and manage all activities in the division including volunteer leadership and fundraising to include generation and management of $550,000 budget.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Personally recruit, develop, train and retain influential volunteer leaders for revenue development, program & division activities; manage division board & committees.
Recruit, develop, lead and manage division staff.
Plan & execute fundraising activities.
Secure sponsorship base for fundraising events.
Explore and develop new sources of income for the division.
Assist State management team in identifying & securing other forms of revenue to include community foundations & other resources.
Work with State management team to effectively implement community service & educational programs & increase visibility via public relations & promotional efforts.
Grow division net income, performance margin, productivity and profitability through expense reductions and increased revenue.
Prepare and administer division budget.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education
Experience in special event planning/management and fundraising with successful track record of income growth.
Excellent management, organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
Experience in volunteer recruitment and development.
Experience in fund development and financial development.
